Requesting an Amtryke for your child is easy:
“Pay It Forward” Program
Children grow, and over time Amtrykes become too small to ride. As a result, the “Pay It Forward” program was created. If any recipient becomes too big for their bike, they can return their old Amtryke and be placed on the Wish List for the next size up. The returned trykes undergo a tune-up by our chapter mechanics so they can be given to children on the Wish List.
Due to the popularity of the Amtryke program, the average time from measurement to receiving an Amtryke is approximately one year.
Information for Therapists
Local therapists who feel comfortable completing measurements on their own can download and complete the following documents. Please complete both the Request Form and the Pre-Tryke Survey with the family. Once completed, scan and e-mail to the chapter so the child can be added to our Wish List.
