The Las Vegas AMBUCS provides Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to children in southern Nevada who are unable to ride a traditional two-wheeled bicycle. We are a 100% volunteer chapter and are passionate about Inspiring Mobility & Independence through the joy of bike riding.

Do you love donuts or know someone who does? Help the Las Vegas AMBUCS while enjoying a yummy treat. Purchase a dozen donuts from March 24th to April 23, 2024 through the link and 50% of the proceeds will come back to our chapter. This is an online fundraiser, so share with family and friends across the country (check for participating locations prior to ordering) and help us spread the joy of bike riding. We are hoping to raise enough money to purchase 1 Amtryke (~$850).

Amtrykes are provided through generous donations and grant funding. In light of the current economic situation, donations are more important than ever in raising the money necessary to purchase these custom tricycles.

Kendal

“Kendal basically screams with joy whenever she sees her bike before we go out for a ride. She is so thrilled that the bike is hers. We have always wanted to give her a bike but never imagined we could do it. We thought about having one built for her, but then we heard about your organization and are thrilled with it. Kendal absolutely loves the mask and cape too! She wears them all the time and feels like a superhero.” – Mom

Kendal has gained an understanding of safety, street signs, and their meaning by riding her Amtryke. When she sees a stop sign, she recognizes what this means, and is able to use the action of her feet to stop all by herself! We love seeing these bikes make a difference in the lives of these amazing children.

Updates on Amtryke Giveaways & Measurements

Although we recently received a large delivery of Amtrykes, there continues to be a national shortage on parts and materials resulting in longer than normal wait times. We invite children to get measured for the wishlist, but wait times may exceed one year due to delays that are out of our control.
